The 2025 World Athletics Champs (WAC) is being held at the Tokyo Olympics National Stadium built for the 2020 / 21 Olympic Games event.
We had 150+ fans in Tokyo in 1991 for the WAC event at the historic 1964 Olympics stadium that was demolished for the rebuilt 2020 / 21 Olympics venue and we expect a similar, if not larger number, 34 years later: it was so disappointing that our 2020 / 21 Olympic arrangements for our equally sized group were cancelled due to Covid, so now is the opportunity to experience the new venue with the world’s elite athletes competing.
Tokyo has a hard act to follow after the magnificent 2023 Budapest WAC but the championships is certain to be the highlight of the 2025 athletics season.
We look forward to being back in Japan again with a range of options and add-on tours to make the most of the opportunity in the Land of the Rising Sun

There is a breakfast only restaurant, a fitness centre, plus a DIY laundry – a home from home for an extended comfortable stay. 5 mins walk to subway.
CAT C – 3* Sup / CITADINES CENTRAL SHINJUKU
