Having organised packages for individuals and groups to every edition of the IAAF World Championships since they started in 1983 the staff of Track & Field Tours are delighted that we can offer our expertise and services in London for the 2017 IAAF World Championships. We worked on behalf of thousands of clients for the 2012 Olympic Games in London and are pleased that we are offering a comprehensive selection of options for the 2017 event as detailed below, in addition to also offering options for the International Paralympic Champs in Athletics (IPC) in July 2017.

Our programme is focused on properties in Bloomsbury and adjacent areas offering the widest selection of accommodation budgets in central London in a very convenient location. You can choose to travel to the Stratford stadium via either the superfast Javelin train taking just 6 mins directly from St. Pancras to Stratford or via the Circle and Central Lines with just 6 - 9 stops to Stratford from stations within easy walking distance of each property. And when you are not heading to watch Athletics you are within just a few underground stops or a 15-20 mins walk to the West End and all of the delights of central London. A good value tourist class option in a prime central London location.

Imaginative conversion of a Georgian period crescent into 144 studio apartments served by a central reception. If you want to be able to walk to the stadium this is the option for you. The Westfield Shopping Centre at Stratford offers a wide choice of shops, restaurants & bars with every amenity close by. From Stratford you are only 20-25 mins by underground, DLR and main line trains to the West End and all of the delights of central London.
4* WESTBRIDGE HOTEL - Stratford – walk into Olympic Park
This listed building with a modern extension houses an 80 room boutique hotel just a few mins walk into the Olympic Park. Standard double rooms are equipped with bathrooms, air conditioning, Wifi, fridge, iron and tea & coffee making facilities. There is a restaurant, coffee shop, lounge & gym.

BUDGET Accommodation
With August being the height of the tourist season and with the event being held over 10 days we know that the cost will be an issue for many especially single travellers. So, we are offering a choice of University en-suite accommodation and a comfortable 3* budget hotel both within a very easy commuting distance of Stratford.
ST MARY’S UNIVERSITY - Bethnal Green – 2 stops to Stratford
We have access to some of the official accommodation being used by those involved with the London 2017 events which is very close to Stratford. Each room is suitable for one person in a student study style bedroom with an en-suite shower & WC. Breakfast is included. A comfortable affordable option for single travellers.

This 126 room hotel has rooms with air conditioning, Wifi, TV and hairdryers. There are rooms with extra sofa beds where a child U16 stays for free. There is a restaurant & bar. The hotel has car parking (£5 per day) and is within 200m of Newbury Park railway station on the Central Line to Stratford taking 15 mins.
