The next "Friendly Games" is on Australia’s Gold Coast which is sure to be an attractive destination as it provides the ideal opportunity to combine a great holiday with watching sport - already 225+ fans have registered to attend the Gold Coast Games as part of the T&FT group.
Track & Field Tours Experience at the “Friendly Games” – 30+ years and counting….
Our staff and company have arranged tours to every Games since 1986 – no other sports tour operator can match this experience with the Gold Coast event being the 9th edition we have organised groups to.
To date this has seen us operating on 4 continents in city locations as diverse as Auckland, Delhi, Kuala Lumpur and Victoria in addition to the UK and previous events in Australia. In this time the Games has grown from being akin to a jolly village fete to the spectacular professional sports festival it is today and we, of course, have grown and adapted too.
During this period Track & Field Tours was recognised as an official agent for both the 2002 Manchester Games and the 2014 Glasgow Games where arrangements were made for 600+ clients on both occasions. And for the most recent Games in Australia at Melbourne in 2006 we made arrangements for 200+ fans at what was a fabulous event organised with great style by our Australian hosts and which is sure to be the same for the 2018 edition.
We have shared this journey along with the many thousands of clients over the past 30+ years that have enjoyed our wide range of Athletes Family, Friends and Fans programmes that are designed to provide both access to event services and the flexibility that we know our many regular and new clients always appreciate… and always along with fun social events! At the Glasgow Commonwealth Games our exclusive T&FT Games Party in the spectacular Corinthian Club saw 20+ athletes and Games medalists join our hundreds of clients for a wonderful event celebration. In Delhi in 2010 who can forget Will Sharman’s unique take on Indian dancing and in Melbourne in 2006 the T&FT Welcome Party performance of the Aboriginal group that provided a unique start for group members to the last Games in Australia - imagination backed with experience are the ingredients to the art of Being There!

Packages will be offered with a choice of 4* & 3* hotel and apartment accommodation options mostly located in the central Gold Coast Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach areas with good access to the Metricon Stadium Athletics venue as well as the other sports venues mostly located north and south along the coast. Track Cycling and Shooting are both being held in Brisbane and there are some sports prelims in Cairns & Townsville.
We are offering a selection of Games durations from:
Games Prelims, Mid-Games & Games Finale 4 & 5 night options up to the Full Games 13 nights package and of course, a dedicated Athletics 9 nights package.
On this basis Athletes Family, Friends & Fans can attend for either an extended Games experience or a shorter “taste of the Games” that we know will be the preference of some clients.
All packages include B&B at hotels and Self Catering at apartments, T&FT staff services, T&FT Games Supporters Pack & T&FT Games Party and access to meet & greet airport transfer services.

Track & Field Tours Games Add-on & Stop Over Package Options:
We are offering an extensive range of add-on tours in Australia and places en route in the Far East as stop-over package options. There will be package modules for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Ayers Rock, Cairns and other Australian venues.
