We are offering three hotel properties to cater for varying budgets. All three hotels are located in the city centre each are just a short walk to the very efficient metro system. The metro (Line 2) that serves all three hotels is the most direct line to the stadium, with shuttle bus transfers completing the final part of the journey. The good news is that ALL Public Transportation, including the Metro and stadium shuttle buses are FREE to competing athletes. The prices for these hotels are based on a PER PERSON BASIS staying a minimum of 4 nights with the possibility of booking extra nights. Breakfast is included each day in the below prices.

5* GRAND HOTEL

Featuring free WiFi and a restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. Every room at this hotel is air conditioned and features a flat-screen TV with cable channels and a private bathroom. Located just 5 stops (Line 2) on the Metro with a short bus shuttle transfer from the Grand Park station to the stadium

4* HOTEL LAONZENA

Conveniently located a 5-minute walk west from Suseong Citizens’ Sports Complex Subway Station. It offers free WiFi in all areas and an in-house restaurant. All rooms are air-conditioned and come with a flat-screen TV. En suite bathroom includes both a bath and a shower while free toiletries and bathrobes are provided. For guests’ relaxation, there are a massage parlour, sauna and spa and wellness centre in-house. The 24-hour front desk offers currency exchange, luggage storage and concierge services. 3* HOTEL CRYSTAL

Located between historical Dalsung Park and Eworld theme park, Hotel Crystal is less than a 1-minute walk from Bangogae Subway Station. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, a coffee shop, bar and free parking. Rooms come with air conditioning and heating facilities. Each room has a cable TV and private bathroom. The hotel offers dry cleaning services, currency exchange and a 24-hour front desk service. Located 10 stops (Line 2) on the Metro with a short bus shuttle transfer from the Grand Park metro station to the stadium.

We have secured an allotment in these hotels for BMAF athletes but due to the limited availability of rooms in city centre hotels, these will be allocated on a “first come first served basis” – late booking requests may be offered alternative accommodation in the event that these options are fully booked.

London Heathrow to Seoul (indirect via Helsinki) - Fares from: £ 579 incl. luggage

London Heathrow to Daegu (indirect via Seoul) - Fares from: £ 735 incl. luggage

UK regional flights also possible upon request eg. Manchester

Direct flights to Seoul from Heathrow take 11 hrs.

Indirect flights generally take 15 – 17 hrs – Other airlines and routings are on request

SEOUL TO DAEGU BY BULLET TRAIN

By Bullet Train from Seoul city centre to Daegu city centre takes 1 hour 50 mins. It is possible to take the AREX train from the airport (every 35 mins) no-stops to Seoul Station (43 minutes - £10) or a taxi (approx: £40 – 45 mins)

 KTX Train from Seoul:  £ 35 each way / 2^nd Class          £ 45 each way / 1^st Class

The KTX Train can only be booked 30 days before date of travel at the earliest, prices can be confirmed at time of booking the train.

Daegu Airport or Daegu KTX Train station transfers to/from hotel would be client’s own arrangement / cost
