Summer in Aarhus will be devoted to athletics when the European Masters Athletics Championships Stadia (EMACS) 2017 takes place. Aarhus, designated as European Capital of Culture in 2017, will present tough and entertaining track and field events, race walk, and half marathon competitions. More than 4,000 athletes and up to 4,000 additional visitors from more than 40 countries are expected to attend. During the eleven days of competition, there will be a full programme at the refurbished city stadium, Ceres Park, and at the new suburban facilities at Viby Stadium. Definitely the perfect setting for many new records and great sporting moments.

HOTELS:
We are offering three properties to cater for varying budgets. All three hotels are located in the city centre and transfer shuttle buses travelling to and from the Main Stadium will run from bus stops close to all three hotels. The prices for these hotels are per room per night and include breakfast each day. These prices and room allotments have been directly negotiated with the organising committee.
Room availability can only be offered on a “first come first served basis” – late booking requests may be offered alternative accommodation in the event that these options are fully booked. *Alternative hotels can be offered upon request*
All of the below hotels have been selected for their comfort and close proximity to the ‘Shuttle Bus Stops’ for transfers to/from the stadium/s arranged by the local organisers.

Just 550 yards from the Central Station, the Radisson Blu offers air-conditioned rooms all equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, as well as a minibar, safe and trouser press. The well-equipped 2000 m² fitness centre can provide personal trainers. The main restaurant offers an impressive Scandinavian breakfast buffet.
