This innovative new event is being hosted in Budapest, with the competition being held over 3 evenings. The stadium was built for the 2023 World Champs with the then temporary upper-tier seats now removed: the roof still provides cover for the lower tier. World Athletics will invite 8 elite-ranked athletes per event, akin to a global championships final. 300+ athletes from 70 countries are scheduled to compete, representing their national teams.
