THE EVENT
The 10th European Athletics Junior U23 Championships are being held at the newly reconstructed historic stadium of Kadriorg, Tallinn, Estonia. Approximately 1,000 athletes are expected to attend the Championships, including various world-class athletics stars. Athletes from this age group won a total 27 medals from the European Athletics Championships in Zurich 2014 and the event offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring Olympic, World and European champions to compete against the best athletes in their own age group.
The stadium has seen more than 120 Olympic winners and world record holders and most recently hosted the European Junior U20 Championships in 2011, for which we coordinated an exciting travel programme for many athlete’s families, coaches and spectators. As Estonia’s capital and largest city, medieval Tallinn boasted the accolade of being the European Capital of Culture for 2011.
