More than 2,000 athletes and team officials from more than 180 countries will return to the Polish city of Bydgoszcz for the 15th World Junior Championships in Athletics. The Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak Stadium played host to the championships in 2008 in a newly re-built 21,000 seated stadium. Spectators will be able to see some of the world’s very best junior athletes in action. Many of these athletes will compete again at this year’s Rio 2016 Olympic Games. The city’s picturesque location on the Brda and Vistula Rivers offers an enjoyable European break combined with top class Junior athletics.
